Spring 2005 Father Interrupted's Grievance Against Judge Welch
MotherInterrupted,
I am a father interrupted and have had more than one hideous occasion to be in the presence of the "honorable" judge Welch. I don't know if you only advocate for mothers but I am a father of three that has had no say in the outcome of my children's lives. They are living in a house that has more men running through it than a YMCA locker room. They have serious truancy problems which their mother responded to with a "refusal to sign." They are now headed to a trial. Over the last five years I have gathered documentation on several occasions to back up my case and each time I get the same response from Judge Welch. She looks at my ex wife and says "shame on you." She then proceeds to tell us that we need to grow up and work together. I cannot contact my children because their mother has shut off the phone, doesn't respond to e-mail, and has moved or pretended to have moved. She has manipulated the system time and again and the children are paying for it. Their school reports many problems with their education and also reports recurring nightmares from my six year old son. The Judges response? I wish I knew, I can't get a response. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a Judge that actually cared about what was best for the children?

Spring 2005 Mary and Three Teenage Daughters
Dear MotherInterrupted,
Thanks for the message....DHS took wardship of our three teenagers on Wednesday. I am devastated, but my doctor told me my health can't withstand a trial. I haven't had so much as a visit in 5 months with my kids, they've even forbid my older kids and us to go to their sport's events at high school because they won't waste DHS overtime so we can be supervised. I don't know how the rest of you cope.... first the betrayal and lies from our kids (twisted by DHS) and sitting being told to keep quiet while they say any lie that comes into their head.Do you have anger-chat groups by worker? I'd like to get an archery target made up with her face if I could get one...it would be good therapy. Nice to see something positive being done out of such a horrid experience. Mary

Order to Show Cause that Judge Baxter denied just today. If anyone knows where I can turn, my
grandsons lives are at risk in the name of ECONOMIC POLICY  as I

Hi Susan. It been a while since I last wrote, I am still fighting for my grandchildren and learning 
more everyday thanks to a Voice for Children. So far it doesn't feel like I have done anything more 
than make DHS mad. But I have discovered they have no legal basis for jurisdiction; I’ve been 
denied due process of law--NO CHARGES--just allegations that the children reside under 
threat of harm. 
Although we have requested disclosure on several occasions, this has been denied. 
And they are pursuing adoption, and dismissal of parental rights... 
DO YOU KNOW OF ANY GOOD ATTORNEYS WILLING TO FIGHT AND SUE THESE MONSTERS?? 
These children need to COME HOME IMMEDIATELY.

During the summer of 2003, SOSCF caught up with her while she was attempting to leave the state to protect her children. Taylor and her three children are currently living an underground existence, because of a malicious and fraudulent case built against the mother by SOSCF. Oregon Family Rights is seeking help in overturning the court order that granted custody to the state.

Ashley Pond of Oregon City
Around the same time the state was harrassing parents like Susan Detlefsen and Taylor McLaren on fabricated abuse charges, the two kids who desperately need protection, Ashley Pond and Miranda Gaddis, were left to be murdered, even after numerous cries for help to SOSCF. Since the sexual abuse Ashley was being subject to was not by a custodial parent, ie mother or father, the state had no interest in taking her into custody. There is generous federal money for taking children away from their parents on a dependency order, but Ashley was not the dependent of Ward Weaver. The two state workers who failed to protect these two were fired, and then quietly rehired later.

Lori Pond recently filed a law suit against SOSCF for failing to protect Ashely. In predictable SOSCF fashion, they have retaliated by taking Lori Pond's other three children. Message to Lori Pond
